Rocky mountain radar, they are illegal in about 3 states because they actually deflect the officers radar, i love it and it works in Texas

but u have to get a high dollar one.
a cop could be sittin hidden, car off..zap u with a laser then ur up the creek without a paddle..
u can get radars that will deflect lasers...but it gets pricy 3-5 hundred....
i think radars will save ur ass alot..but it would only take one time at 125 to get ur lisence taken away...but at 125 with a stoped cop u might was well take ur chances anyway...
its either here in illinois....
- 3 months suspension for over 90 in a 55
or
- 3 month suspension for fleeing...

They don't completely jam the cops radar, they just give you a second or two more time to slam on your brakes. Radar isn't that hard to jam, laser is. I like the one I have, it works good in the city and great on the hwy. I'm routing the wires through my headliner witha toggle on the dash now. When ever the cop sees your detector, no way you're getting out of a ticket.

I have a Beltronics. It's a couple years old but the amount of tickets it's saved me from is ridiculous. Paid for itself over and over again. Only ONE time have I gotten a ticket while running my detector - and that was because he didn't gun me, I passed an unmarked Volvo cop car in the mountains.

Navy Blue Metallic- 2001 camaro SS A4
I got a Valentine 1 and love it. It will give me almost a mile warning on the open highway. Where as my $100 cobra will only give me about 1/4 mile warning only from the front. The Valentine 1 has front and rear radar and laser, and tells what way it is coming from. It cost me $410 to my front door. The only thing I don't like is its hard to tell what band of radar is getting you and the magnesium case gets hot sitting in the sun in my windshield. I have freinds that want one just for the arrows.

The updates you have to pay for. Like if they come out with a new, better eye for picking up radar. You will send it back and they will put a new eye into it for you. If you do have a Valentine 1 or looking to buy a used one, you can go to there web site and type in the serial number and it will tell you if any updates are available.
