Elemental Design's EU 700

I see people using the Elemental Design's EU 700 subs in the rear panels. How well do these subs sound? I want to change all the speakers and this is what I was thinking.

H/U eclipse don't remember the model # (already in vehicle)
front doors 6-1/2 component set (lanzar)
rear panels Elemental Design's EU 700
rear hatch panel 4" component plate speakers (lanzar)
4-channel amp for highs
2-channel amp for subs

I'm just looking for good clean sound not to be heard blocks away. been there done that. I also want a somewhat stock look. thoughts??

Any group buys for cheaper?? I noticed on a Nissan Titan forum they were selling these for $50ea on a group buy instead of the $65ea. Anyone interested for that price?

you'll be very satisfied-they reach the deep lows much more efficiently than stock speakers do. Dunno how you'll hook them up [keeping monsoon amp or not?] but the stock system requires dual 2-ohm speakers.

Will the monsoon amp have enough power for the ed subs? I'll probably just buy two amps for my entire system.

i had stock amp and EU's and it sounded fine. Wiring is key, check out the sticky on the sound/electronics page

no - you want the Dual 4-Ohm voice coils actually..

Stock Firebird sail subs have dual 4 ohm VCs (direct replacement as far as wiring), stock Camaros have SVC 2 ohm VCs (wire D4 in parallel).
