How to remove anniversary stripes?
So I am looking at buying a black ws6 w/white 30th anniversary stripes. They have started to fade on the hood and look pretty bad. What is the best way to remove these? Does 3M have a certain product that will take it away? How will the paint look underneath? Any suggestions? Thanks!

like said above, heat gun to get them off. There will be a sticky residue left over, just get some Goo Gone or some kind of adhiesive remover.
Beware: Depending on how long the stripes have been on the car, the paint may not match. Example... if they were on since the car was new, and the paint is somewhat faded on the car, the paint under the stripes will still be brand new.
May want to take a small part off on the rear spoiler (if the stripes are all along the car) or on the roof just to see how the paint looks underneath.
You will probably have to do some serious polishing (possibly wet sanding in extreme cases) to hide the fact that the stripes were there.
