    best way to spend 500.00

I have 500.00 extra coming on jan. 15th. for working the hollidays... what should I get,, a lt4 hotcam kit..but I would have to wait until spring to get it installed...get my 373 gears in? I already have the gears just need installed, I have 323's in it now..or get a dynotune?...I have a pcmforless tune now, but know a dynotune would squeak more out... If I do the gears I can go on and get a magnaflow muffler back on over the flowmaster...just looking for the most bang for the buck for this winter...already have longtubes and other bolt on's on...thanks..

Not worth a dyno tune if you are anticipating changing the cam soon... I'd say get the gears installed, but they wont be winter friendly, but I have no idea what kind of weather you get there in missouri.

snow, ice, and more snow..well atleast sometimes, I don't drive it when the roads are bad, so that will help...yeah I think I will get the 373's put in, and either a new magnaflow, or hooker muffler...thanks

Why not a good catback? 3:73s will be nice, but perhaps consider a good catback!

I had a magnaflow catbac, but I blew a hole in the muffler, so I put on a flowmaster muffler, but I am def. going to change that power robbing pos..I have to admit it sounds awesome, but I need more performance than sound..

Hello didntdoit,,yeah I forgot to mention, I have a stage 2 shiftkit...Iam going to put the gears in, and for sure a new muffler, I am going to start looking for a good stall...would a 2800 be too much, because this is a daily driver in nice weather, mostly highway driving...

Gears are the quickest way to make the car feel faster. You will maybe get 1-2 tenths in the 1/4. Do you have a cold air yet? Lingenfelters is really nice for around $170. Lower thermostast is a good buy for $15. There is a guy on camaroz28.com called madz28 he tunes the stock ECU and gets good numbers for a very reasonable price.
