Need bigger fuel injectors?
Hi all, I have a 2002 corvette track car with a LS3 495hp crate engine with OEM GM 430hp fuel injectors and intake and 90mm GM throttle body. My question is do I need bigger fuel injectors, especially when it runs at hi rpm all the time? THX Brian.

From what it sounds like, you ended up just getting the long block and not the full assembly with harness intake/et al/, and reusing some standard LS3 parts so I presume that you will still need to tune it?
According to these guys, https://www.psiconversion.com/tech/l..._injector.html it looks like the LS3 and LS7 took the same 42lb injectors (PN 12576341), and the LS7 made 505 hp at the crank, and at a higher RPM, so it sounds like it's possible that the injectors may hold up but its also dependent on the fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator as well.
When it comes down to it, I would get a person to tune it on a dyno, and they should be able to tell, between the dyno and the data they are seeing in the programing software if you need more injector or not.
