should i renew my plate?
ok i am tryin to sell my car right now and it is takin longer than i thought.my plates expired last october, didnt renew the plate cause it was going in storage the next month, and got back out in march driven it about 10 times on expired plates not very far and very slow.and now this warm weather is driving me crazy with the car just sitting in the garage,i am to much of a pussy to drive it the way it is.so i am thinking of just renewing the plate in the morning, but of course my thought is or i should say luck is i will renew the plate then somebody will want to buy it the next day, that is the only reason i havnt renewed it.so the minimum 6 months to renew it and with back taxes it will be atleast $180 to renew it,and i HAVE to sell it within the next couple months at the longest.so if you were in this situation what would you do?say fuck it its just money and get the plate,or say fuck it and wait watch it in the garage and wait for it to sell?

put the tags on it cuz if you drive it people will see it and maybe buy it. just sitting in the garage no one will see the car in action.

Renew the plate and take the car out during this warm weather.
Don't just wait on people inquiring about the car and associate it with whether or not you renew the plate.
Even if you were to renew the plate and someone purchased it shortly thereafter, you can only be happy about the situation.

Silver- Mexican killed my car
Get new plates. If someone wants to buy it they are going to want to test drive it and the buyer getting pulled over during a test drive would probably be a deal killer.

Yeah, get new plates so you have the piece of mind when you're driving it or someone else is test driving it. Also, as soon as you sell the car, notify the BMV immediately, because you'll actually get some $$$ back for having paid the renewal fees and then selling it months before the plate would expire...

I would want to buy a car that had no plates. You bet...that'll raise the value right there./

I'd get the tags on it and find a friend that has a yard in a good location. Park it there and if someone wants to take it out for a test drive your all ready to roll. Good luck, and hey, just jack your asking price up enough to cover the tags!
