Should i program or not?

ok i just finished installing my headers on my car, and i deleted the whole EGR system. now my service engine soon light comes on, i know its because i took off the EGR. my question is do i have to get the ls1 tune out the codes or can i just leave it alone. also can i drive my car with the codes or not?

You will be fine, not gonna hurt anything but will be annoying, the only down side with the light beng on all the time is that you won't know if another unrealted code will pop up.

Also a if you can afford it, a tune wil help to maximise the benifits of the headers.

do you have any other mods planned in the near future? If you do just wait and get the tune after you do the other mods. If not I would probably get the tune. Not only will it shut the light off but it'll help you maximize the gains of the headers.
