Well 276hp times 4 wheels would be 1104hp. Stock mustangs have 265hp on 2 wheels which would make your car have 530hp. So the evo would be 2x as fast.......

<<<<mustang all the way. first, gt looks sexier. evo is not really a race car if you go by the diffinition. what kind of race car has 4 doors? no offense, but i just hate evo and wrx. they just look too weird. they are good for winter driving though. as for head to head, i don't really know. i had post a question about the same subject.

GM makes a big displacement+ high compression with lots-o-bang
and ford makes small displacement+ low compression for better supercharging results ( in the long run )
Both are fun, yet some peoples heads grow faster than the dyno sheet
