Knock Sensor/Oil Pressure Sensor Issue
Hi guys,
I threw the rear knock sensor code, and after reviewing tons of posts and articles decided to change it. Well, I was able to get the intake off and slide it to the driver's side so I have access to the sensor. I tried gently removing the connector to the knock sensor, but the plastic partially snapped off. What's the easiest way to get those things off? I tried squeezing on a few different points, and it wouldn't release. What's worse, I had to put the manifold back on so I can drive the car...trying to be careful not to break the oil pressure sensor...and I *$#%& broke it. Everything was bolted back on and I started the car, and the check gauges light came on and my oil pressure was zero.
Can I wait a week or two before replacing the oil pressure sensor? How can I get the knock sensor clip off? I'm worried if it breaks I'll have some plastic around the sensor that will fall into the engine after I remove the sensor.
Any help is appreciated!

The plastic won't fall in your engine Use a 7/8 deep socket to take it off. I used pliers and grab both side of the clip and squeezed lightly and lifted up.
