    Transmission crossmember help

    I have an 01 Z28 with a stock LS1 and 6 speed tranny. I also have some suspension upgrades. I ran over something awhile back, which I later found was a large brick. It hit my Y-pipe and dented the hell out of it but it also smacked my transmission crossmember. Looks like a superhero punched it upward and it's also damaged....was wondering why my shifter seemed a little bit higher. Anyways, doing a clutch change soon and since I'm taking out the tranny, I was thinking replecing the crossmember with one from BMR. My questionS are:

    Is it a direct swap?
    Is it used in conjunction with anything else?
    Which one?...the TH350, TH400 or 4L80e?
    Why is it called a "conversion?"

    Transmission crossmember help

    Try UMI Performance.

    I have their Crossmember for T56 and their Torque Arm.

    Pretty stout piece.
