Prc heads
How can you tell the Texas Speed stage 2.5 5.3 and their stage 2.5 ls6 heads apart.

first clue will be the part numbers on the heads......ls6 heads are 243's and 5.3 heads are 852 or 706 I believe. Going off memory there on the 5.3 part numbers but I *think* that's right.

Where the part numbers usually are cast in the head, there is either a "PRC" engraved, or "stage 2.5" engraved. I wonder if there is any other quick way.

I think I found my answer. The exhaust ports are "D" shaped, and the serial numbers inside the heads are 12564243.

I just looked at mine. I have the 5.3's. But because I am old and blind, I couldn't see what the numbers were.
