Plastic vs. Steel idler pulleys
Anyone have a preference or a reason(s) to use steel over factory plastic idler pulleys. Bearing quality etc. I've heard steel are better because they pull heat away from the bearing, but it seems the plastic fan or mini spoke design would move more air around the bearing area....

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
My DD has plastic idler pulleys, they eventually melted and broke, which caused several other problems with the motor. Needless to say, I would prefer metal pulleys.
