Anyone play gears of war 2 yet? I got my copy and was highly impressed, it is way better than even the first which i had a hard time puting down...

havent tried it yet, will most likely buy in near future. Been playin COD5 beta on XBL and its pretty sweet, definately gettin it on weds

I HATE 3rd person... I just couldn't stand the controls of the first one... which is ashame because the rest of the game looked decent... I just didn't understand the hype...

I haven't purchased it personally yet (next weekend). But I've played it at my friend's house. I wish they would have carried over the online menu from GOW1. I enjoyed the way you sit in the room waiting for other to join and bashing them until they leave if they sounded like d-bags. I wish the new xbox dash would have game related stuff for your avatar. That way my guy could be COG'd out.

My roomate is obsessed.

Ill stick with COD and Socom.

I dont even have a PS3 or 360. Gotta get Socom though. I was a diehard on the previous ones, all the way back to the release or the first socom.
