    2 Questions Actually

#1.. for one how do like the new set up i did?? i installed it all and kinda just went with a picture i had in my head..(remember im the guy that got carjacked at gunpoint and got all his old shit ripped out) the car is finally all put back together..

#2..ow far is the gas tank down from that hump behind the back seat..cuz basically i drilled two holes to bolt the amp down..well i had to relocate an inch so i was just gunna leave the two holes but i started smelling a hint of gasoline so did i drill into the tank..please let me know ASAP lol because i would kind of not like the amp turning on and creating a bomb 3 feet behind my head! thanks guys

Man I hope you didn't drill into the tank. How far did you drill/what size screws did you use? Friend of mine mounted his amp there and put tape on the bit and used 1/2" screws with no issues. You can see how close the center of the tank and fuel lines are in this pic. www.ls2.com/boggs/99tankdoor/PB180125.jpg

shit i had no idea that was under there..well i drilled through the carpet and when i felt it hit the metal i pushed with light pressure until it went through and then stopped..and they were little screws...not sure wat size but very small??but i smell fuel??? is there any way i can check it out/??i could take it off like in that pic but that would require a disc cutter and im not abou to make spark right theree!!!!

You probably didn't put a hole in the tank then, if you're smelling fuel though maybe you hit something else? Only thing I can think of is take it to a shop that has a small camera, like they use to put down through a plug hole to look at a piston, etc. Have you been driving the car, any leaks, EVAP codes?

I like some of the gloss black panels on the dash. The gauge cluster looks good and I think I like the console but the kick panels are over kill.

Your amp is going to overheat in the summer. Even if it has a overload protection, it is still hard on it.

The black spoked ZR1's look badass especially with the drop!
