Cam/Tune wakes these motors up......far less than what you have to spend....if your a A4 ( I cant remember if WS6 are all standard ) then a stall will wake your ass up with the above...cam and tune for sure...

is it bad to do cam w/o doing heads???? If its ok whats a good cam. I want it to be noticable by performance, and sound, but not too aggresive.

depends on ehat you want. low, mid or high end torque or power. Lots of great cams out there. Also another thing to look at is do you intend to add a power added in the near future. I.E. turbo, nitrous If so look into a cam that will work well with it.
Heads are not required but will make a huge difference down the road.
Most sponcers have a great line up of cams just start looking and give them a call. They will be more then happy to chat with you about your setup and any questions.
When looking for my cam I talked to a guy at Thunder Racing for almost two hours lol...

Don't be scared make your car a real low 11 second car. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
First buy a set of V-6 springs from the junkyard for the rear.
Second install a pair of drag radials.
Third buy a Walbro 255 fuelpump.
Fourth install a set of AR 94 plugs.
Fith install a quality wet nitrous plate. (175 hp jets)
Sixth have the car tuned.
Now you will have a mid to low 11 second car.
That still idles bone stock, get's the same milage it always had, didn't loose ANY driveabilty, and is a sleeper.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

long tubes (700 to 900) and true dual set up (got mine custom for around 500 with header install), stall (5-800), shift kit (130) and tranny cooler (50-100). These things will make you sound good and go faster. If you shop around for deals you could possibly get all these and have them installed for close to 2800 or so. Def look into a stall and shift kit, this is one of the single most effective mods you can do to an a4. I picked up 4-5 tenths at the track with a tci street fighter.
LS6 Engine swap, Custom Predator Tune, Lid, SLP Cold Air, Ram Air H.O. Hood, Hooker Long Tubes, !Cats, 3" True Duals w/Dynomax Bullets, Performabuilt stage 2 w/3600 stall, B&M Trans. Cooler, Moser 12 Bolt w/ 3.73's

I didn't even think about that until I read it. . . . . . . . . . . LOL
From Racetronix's web site
Custom Racetronix / Walbro pump
Venturi feed system - Racetronix exclusive
Red anodized billet T6 aluminum pump assembly
Racetronix to GM Teflon wiring harness
High-pressure non-kinking G.M. fuel tube
Custom 30 micron filter sock
Most of Racetronix stuff is pricey to me anyways.
$50 more because the pump says Ractronix on it and it's red. NO Thanks you can't even see it anyways.
