Subframe connector woes
Put 'em in about 750 miles ago. They made the car tighter, for damn sure, but, as there were already 155k on the clock, I think I might have jumped the gun by not getting the body straightened first. It took some custom work to get the pass. side to fit, and now the car squeaks and creaks worse than it did before.
Any ideas? Just run it this way... no biggie, right?

they're welded, but they say you should have a body shop look at it and make sure it's aligned right before you put them in. reason being, these cars produce so much torque that they can actually twist the subframes or some junk like that just from getting romped on all the time.

I was worried about that too when i got mine put on at 80k. I asked the guy who was welding them on and he said that your frame should be fine if you are at stock or near stock power levels. He owns a LS1 performance shop and has welded many sets of SFC's so he knows what he is talking about. So i wouldn't worry about it.

I just installed welded BMR SFC about 1 month ago and the passenger side SFC makes a lot of squeaking noises. Sounds like it's coming from the LCA, but I took it to the weld shop and they toruqed the rear bolts and it stopped for one day and started up again, even worse this time. Like metal to metal squeaking..... have you guys experienced this?
