BMR A arm bushing problems
*update*
I spoke with BMR, and they got a huge batch of bad bushings, mostly for newer mustang parts, but some of the control arms. If you have recently ordered anything from BMR in the last month-month and a half, you probably have some bad bushings...
About a month ago I installed upper and lower BMR a-arms and a k-member. Since then, the front poly bushing on the passenger side has been crushed 3 times, completely destroying the bushing. The top of the bushing looks like it got smashed from too much pressure being put on it.
I installed myself, carefully following the directions. I had a shop align it and look over the install. They said it looks good, and yet the bushings are starting to split again.
Has anyone else installed these and had this problem? I dont know what is causing it, and BMR is not much help.
Thanks
BTW, I drive a 1998 Pontiac Trans-am, and on top of the BMR stuff, I have bilsteins on it, but I don't think that would make a difference.Last edited by spawn_ta; 05-16-2007 at 08:50 PM.

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
BMR ... nough said... stock parts are more reliable/solid than BMR's.
They don't seem to have any clue about cornering whatsoever... just straight line... so i wouldn't trust the a-arms nor the k-member @ all.
I'd get rid of them and get real equipment such as the UMI k-member and LG or UMI a-arms.Eugenio_SS

I have heard some good things about BMR, and the parts seem pretty well made aside from the bushings. I talked to them today and they have a confirmed batch of bad bushings, so if the new ones go bad, then I will get my money back.
