Rear Defroster
Well wasn't to sure if this has happened to any of you guys out there but awhile back I noticed that my attachment for my rear defroster has fallen of the window and it is just hanging there. Not really worried about getting it fixed right away being that we are almost through spring and going into summer no need for rear defroster right now. But has this happened to anyone else before and how did you fix it?

I would reccomend calling gm and seeing if there is a part number for the tab. Other option would be try and clean up the connections too free them of debris and then re-apply the tab. Might have too put some type of metallic adhesive between the two so that you ensure a connection is made.

you can call a windsheild replacement place and they can fix it. same thing happend to my car. they charge about 30 bucks to fix it. mine got broken when the previous owner had the windows tinted. I asked a similar question and got no response. I was thinking you might get a repair kit at autozone or something.

Yeah, I had to have the windsheild replaced on my ta. the guy did it as a favor for free. unfortunatly it didn't enhear to the glass good enough and fell off again. Thats why I was thinking I might get a repair kit at auto zone or something

i don't know if they sell a repair kit for it though. been lucky so far still attached to the window as long as it stays there through out the winter it's all good lol. one guy i talked to before said he soldered his back on when he had his old camaro. i didn't want to try that and crack my glass so i had a shop do it even though if it was done for free my friend would have gotten me the hook up with new glass if they cracked it so a win win situation for me keep me posted if you find a repair kit.
