Has anyone used a Diablo Predator tuner on thier 05-06 GTO? I have one and want to play with it a little before I sell it. The instructions say to remove a couple fuses? Did any of you do this before messing around with stuff? And anyone had any problems using the pre-set tunes while having any bolt-ons?

good questions. also will it take off the torque limitor? i cant light up the tires.

I am 99.9999999% sure you can take off the torque management with a Diablo Predator. But I may be wrong.

u only have to remove fuses if it has onstar, yes u can remove torque mangement at least i can with my 04 one, if u change yours at all, you wont be able to sell it unless u reset it with the stock tune, well u can sell it but it will be locked

Yeah, I knew about the thing being locked if you dont reset it back to stock tune. I'm only going to play with it for a bit then get a dyno tune later on. Do you have a CAI? I've heard rumors of getting lean codes after using the Predator tune due to the increased air intake along with the advanced timing of the Predator tune?

yea i do, and yes i have gotten fuel lean code twice, but with the preadtor u can erase it no problem

Now when you say "erase" do you mean your just clearing the code and not fixing anything, or are you retarding timing or adding fuel to fix the problem?

I wonder if you would still have the same problem with the SLP Diablo Predator? It has a tune built in for just a high-flow filter and not a full CAI though...

i do have the slp diablo and like i said ive got a lean code twice, u can clear the codes the only code u can delete from the engine pcm is the rear o2 sensors
