LS to Jeep Swap
Just starting to learn about LA swaps. Watched a lot of car shows featuring them but them go fast and I am sure there are a lot of details missed. I'm not looking for monster horsepower but want to build some fun into it. Good low end good mid range and top end not as important. I definitely want the 6L80E tranny for the extra gearing so I can use it as a daily driver as well. Size makes little difference to me 5.3, 6.0, or 6.2. I'd like to get motor, tranny, wire harnesses, TCM, and ECM from same unit. Right now I'm just looking for the proper donor. What are your recommendations on the best donor vehicles I should be looking for?

Truck "LS's" should be fairly easy get a hold of, especially 5.3L's.
I am sure that there is a Jeep forum, somewhere, that talks up those swaps.
The biggest questions for me would how to mate all of that to the differentials, and what needs to be done to feed info through the dash gages,
