275/35/18 or 275/40/18 on an 18x9 wheel fitment
What up folks. Been reading through this forum and have been learning alot. My question is will 275/40 or 35 18's fit better on an 18x9 wheel with offset of 40mm on my 02 trans am. I will be putting on konis/stranos as well. Not sure if the 40's would look too tall and if they will rub. Will be putting full set all around so that I could rotate them. If anyone have those on their car some info and pics would be appreciated. New to the forum and having a ball reading these posts! Thanks

I run 275/3518 on my rear. 40s would be too tall and would rub.

i copy that. What about 285/35's all around. I guess that would be the max on a 18x9 wheel.

Depends on what brand. If you ran, say, Nittos, you could run those as they run narrower than a different brand. 285 Nittos would be slightly narrower than, say, BFGs.

I think those should work as well since they have rolled corners on the sidewall. Keep us posted.
