96 burban rear end need help
I blew up my rear diff its a p.o.s. ten bolt an was woundering if i can take guts out of another ten or twelve bolt with five lug to replace the guts...an what other rearends can i throw under my truck with no fab work.... also whats the best route to go with my problem, i can weld to so any other options an advice are appreciated im just tryin to keep it 6lug

Well, since you were kind enough to hint that it's a 1500 4X4 'Burb by your 6 lug reference, and want no fab involved, Your choices include only 8.5" K series units from' '88-99 and gear choices are plentiful, so be ready to verify and know what you have. a 9.5 or 10.5" 14 bolt 2500-3500 axle will require mods, not to mention, are 8 lug.
