then dont "upgrade" them. the factory brakes are more than sufficient enough for most any type of driving. just go to your local parts store and get what you need. and if you want a different look, check into powder coating or painting your factory stuff. unless you have loads of extra cash or are doing tons of autocross, upgrading the brakes is a waste of money.

Well thing is I get a little shimmy in the wheel when I brake while going faster than like 35mph so I'm assuming the rotors are warped.. I was going to get cross drilled and slotted rotors but they were pretty expensive and then I found like a no name place that has em but I didn't want to trust there drilled brakes so I was just gonna get the slotted but then I'm questioning why I'm doing it in the first place when I don't think I really need them and this way with the money I save I can start to save for some headers or something (which will prob be my next thread if I don't answer all my questions by searching thru the other threads.
Soooo I think ill just get factory rotors with some hawk pads?? Call it a day..

see about having your rotors turned (machined), especially if your pads are still in good shape. and seriously, hawk pads are nice, but still, who sees your pads? you wont notice any difference over the factory stuff for daily driving. unless you have a hard on about upgrading your brakes its dumb, save your money and get those headers.
