It has a paddle shifter he says......I am going to race him I just wanted to know what I am in for.........Thanks for all of the help in advance!

I am familiar with the motor. Its one of the new 3 series. From what the dealer told me, the M3 will beat it in the 1/4 by a car length. I haven't driven the twin myself, but I have driven an M3. The stock T/A will be down the the driver. If you got intake exhaust and minor mods, you should be fine.

Yeah, every now and then I get my ass handed to me but, not too often. When I do, its not the end of the world if you do.
Just remember to keep your rpms low on the launch and you should be able to take him. If I remember correctly, those BMWs take a bit to work up some lather anyways.

If you're talking about the BMW with the I6 twin turbo motor, you can get those in the mid to low 12s with nothing other than an ECU flash that ups the boost, which will essentially make the car still stock. You could be in for a surprise if you can't trap at least 110mph.

PEWETER METALIC- 2002 CAMARO Z-28 M-6
Well I have driven those cars and they are Very fast in the manual trans version and paddle shift!!! Im assuming he has the 135 "I-6" not "L-6" twin turbo pushing 300 hp in a tiny car. If that is the case it will be one hell of a fight for the T/A. Make sure you get a good launch if you go from a Dig and if you do it from a roll make sure the car is not in O/D.

Go to Dragtimes.com
Those BMW 135i (I6 twin turbo 4 door) run low 13s stock and trap 106-110mph bone stock. They make a cheap ECU flash that ups the boost, so essentially the car will do mid to low 12s and trap from 112-117mph depending on conditions. He could be hiding this from you as, you could never tell from looking at the car. You are done for if he has the ECU flash, if he's stock it should be a good race.
Go at it and see what happens.

No such thing as an "L6" unless it is some German nomeclature. Engines are either Inline, V or W. I guess the L6 he is refering to could stand for "longitudinal" like our engines are. Anyway, race him, and also tell him you don't have a wimpy paddle shifter, you drive like a real man does with a proper manual transmission. Launch control is our left and right feet, with our brain involved LOL.
