Ridiculous things you do..

Everytime I mention some things like this to someone else, they blurt out "YES! THAT SHIT ALWAYS HAPPENS, I HATE IT!!"

So maybe Ill share my few lil things and after hearing others', Ill be able to blurt out the same shit.

Laying in bed, partially or totally asleep. Then having some sort of dream or thought about falling off the side of the bed, only I am in the middle. Either way, I react as if I am falling...in the middle of the fucking bed. I shake and shift, awaken, and laugh.

Waking up wondering, why the hell didnt the alarm clock go off? Havent I been sleeping a lot? Then look at the alarm clock and the fucker is within 5 min of going off.

Waking up 1-2 hours naturally, earlier than the alarm clock is supposed to go off. Even though I am more awake than usual, I say, why not get the extra 2 hours of sleep? I go back to sleep, 2 hours go by, the alarm clock goes off, and I am more tired than I have ever been.

(This doesnt happen anymore) Going to sleep early in the evening when there is still light out. I wake up in the middle of the evening when its dark, look at the clock, seeing that its 7 o clock, panic, and rush out of bed. When I get out to the kitchen, I finally realize its 7PM and not 7AM. I laugh or cry, its always one of them.

i was washing my dishes in my kitchen and my front door (right next to my sink) wasn't closed right. i was wearing just my boxers. my neighbor chick opened the door at the bottom of the steps (thier apt is right across from mine) and it made my door open from the suction or what ever... so i go to close the door and she get to the top of the steps and looks at me and then looks down and says "OH! sorry!!!" and turns around quick and struggles to get the key in to her lock... i look down and there it is... my ding ding is haning out of my boxers...

i haven't talked to her or seen her since...

I figured the funniest one to see is the falling off the bed one.

Ive done that shit more than once. In fact, one time, I had that falling off shit going on, I paniced, and rolled quickly to the other side...my head went right into the fucking wall (my bed is cornered into a wall).

My dad has restless leg syndrome, so when I'm trying to fall asleep at night, I can hear him dancing away in the other room.

This happens if you wake up in the middle of a REM cycle. Its about an hour and a half or something, you usually naturally wake up at the end of one after a few of them, but if you go back to sleep and dont complete it you'll feel like shit.

How about just laying down, not having a falling feeling but all your fucking muscles twitch for a 1/10th of a second causing you to wake up to the highest caliber.

About a year ago I was so exhausted I feel into this deep sleep. I mean the deep sleep where bombs could go off and you wouldn't move. Well I had this dream that I had to go piss.....I started peeing in the bed! I jumped up, ran to the bath room! When I got back to the bedroom my husband says "What the hell is wrong with you?" I told him that the wet spot in the bed was not because of him...............he has never let me live this down and tells everyone. But if you can't laugh at yourself then who can you laugh at?

I also talk in my sleep. A while back I was on this camping trip with some old friends of mine. When I woke up everyone kept sayin' "Ten gallon hat!" I couldn't figure it out. So the whole day went by and the finally let me in on the joke. Aparently I woke up, walked out of the tent, yelled "Ten gallon hat", laughed and then went back to sleep.

+1 ME TOO! its weird, isn't it? Another food thing i do...If i'm eating a sandwich i have to eat it in 'layers' starting at the top, rounded part of the crust, working my way across, left to right, top to bottom like i'm reading, but making the top 'flat' all the way across. Not sure whats up with that, but i do it.

Try having a dream about straddling the edge of the World Trade Center and falling off. Talk about hating a dream. My pillow was covered with sweat. I had a bloody nose too but I doubt the dream caused it because my nose used to bleed pretty often.

I also turn on my hazards when I get behind people who are driving under the speed limit. If I had an old beater without an airbag I would ram them but oh well.

Heres one most of you I KNOW wont agree with..

Putting Heinz Ketchup in the refridgerator when it doesnt say anywhere on the bottle that it needs refridgeration. Neither does Huntz.

I never understood putting something cold on something hot. Think about it, ketchup packs are room temperature.

My son drives me nuts when he eats, he's only 3 too. He'll sit there and pick at his food with his fingertips and look at me. I just about fly to pieces every time he does that, I don't know why it irritates me so bad.

hey i do this, its cause the top of the bun is fatter than the bottom and by turning it upside down i mutilate the burger less, if i eat it upside right idk what my deal is but i always destroy the bottom of the bun just by holding it. i also eat french fries a couple at a time and of equal size..

I pick the crust of bread off of a sandwhich before I eat it, don't know why but I always have. Just one of those funny things I guess.

Some people will say... "I set my alarm clock 20mins early so when it goes off, I hit the snooze a couple of times and I get an extra 20mins sleep..." WTF? In that case, set it 5hrs early and hit the snooze 30 times to get 5 hrs extra sleep every night... dumbass! :screwy:

Obviously they do it to wake up gradually, but when they explain it like that I have to take the piss...

I have heaps of little idiosyncrasies...

I used to have to use the same coloured pegs on each item when hanging clothes out on the line. Fixed that problem, pulled the line out and bought a dryer.:screwy:

I wont pull the parkbrake on in a car without holding the button in first, none of that 'click click click' for me thanx.:screwy:

I cant dance. don't ask me to, it just wont happen. I get on the dancefloor and I may as well be naked.:screwy:

I mow my lawn exactly the same way everytime I do it, if my rhythem is upset, I am lost...:screwy:

If I go outside, I cant stand not to have my keys in my pocket...:screwy:

I wont intentionally fart in front of my girlfriend. Don't know why, but its been 5 and a half years now and I never have. Apparently I do it in my sleep all the time and she cant wait till morning to tell me...:screwy:

I cant urinate in front of anyone. Alway have to use the cubicle if I'm out. If I know someone can see me, even if they are not looking, I cant go, busting or not. That started at work one night, I was peeing along side a truck when a workmate threw a firecracker at my feet. I didn't see it. The fright literally scared the piss out of me.:screwy:

Well, seems I've embarrassed myself enough for one thread... I might just shut up now...

:dunno: not much embarasses me... i fart all the time... if i meet a girl i make sure i fart infront of her... if she laughs she is a keeper... if she thinks it's gross i get rid of her cause she has no sence of humor... if she farts back then i defend my territory by farting as much as i can... :yup:

kinda like people who set their clocks 10 minutes fast to help them stop being late all the time. problem is you know it's 10 min fast , so it doesnt make any sense.

another clock thing - you are supposed to set your clock 1 hour ahead/back for spring/fall, at 2am. I heard of some people that think they have to wake up at 2am to do it. if they don't do it then they'll miss their opportunity somehow.

Holy shit, I am the same way.

How about this one fellers!!!!

Walking on a completely flat surface. No bumps, dips, or obstructions. Despite its smooth surface, you still trip or do some sort of half step that causes you to almost fall forward. If anyone is around, they will ALWAYS notice it.

Anytime I have something in my hand, like groceries, my keys happen to be in the same pocket. I have to shuffle stuff around and fumble through my pocket with my hands full. Never fails... irritates the piss out of me.

Nother thing that bothers me... people who win the lottery and don't come forward!!! Sure someone will say they are probably getting advice from a lawyer, whatever... if it was me, I'd be like "Give me my check!" Until the check was in hand and deposited in the bank, I'd think I was dreaming.
