regardless of which you choose, you need to buy one of these bad boys from me:
Size is 6-1/2 x 1-7/8"

haha thats bad ass man, how much?
PM Sent
LOL, who strokes a 383? J/k...it's a sarge joke.
I'll pm you a price too =)
HAHA! That's fuckin badass!
When the LSX comes out (boreable to 500cid) Will you make one like that for it?
whatever you want! I can make ANYTHING :flex: I''ve designed and cut a few badges and would happily do you anything you want. Feel free to email me; [email protected] examples:
renders/concepts [not finished]:
2.8 liter v6 3rd gen...get it?
this is on "juiced99ws6" car
for a 3rd gen with lt1 from a police car:
sarge's emblem for his GTO
emblem on my car with unpainted letters:
painted letters [metallic red, catches well in sunlight]:
Awesome, I'll definitely be sending you a PM after I get that LSX.
That 408 badge is sweet.
As far as the thread topic. If it's a drag only car nitrous. If it's street driven supercharger.
yeah, i'm a thread robbing whore. :sorry:
Those badges are sweet.
You should do a replace set for all three badges (my case Z28) and maybe a nose badge as well.
When I finish with the paint work (do not know if that will be this year or the next) I will ordering from you!
Do both and be really bad ass.
i voted nitrous. just b/c i saw how successful sarge was with it.
i voted turbo
I say low compression and a LOT of nitrous!
With low compression you can run more boost, whether it's a s/c or n2o.
Procharger
Im partial to spray :) and I like this thread it has my badge in it :yay:
Low compression and nitrous for now. 408s love the sauce :yup:
With the low compression you could always add a blower later down the road as well and have both :flex:
i say SC if you have the money.... When your cruisin around town you love that SC. Nitrous will get old, having to fill the bottle often. You know that shit is like crack. Look at juiced99 lol.
lol yea true...a few friends of mine have/had nitrous and spray all the time
What's up with Turbos? Which one(s) do I want? That's what I plan to do in the far off future.
Both!!
Properly implemented, calibrated, and tuned... A supercharger will be easier to manage and more consistent at the track. In regards to street use, a normally aspirtated engine will be better (usually), but a reasonably installed supercharger set up properly will also live just fine on the street.
The only problem I have with the juice is track consistency and all the fiddling around with bottle warmers and pressures to get it to work perfectly every time while being consistent. In my experience juice has a higher risk of engine damage because many people will make a mistake in the management of it, especially if it is only used once in awhile.
Once properly set up, a supercharger can be completely reliable as long as the rest of the vehicles infrastructure is equiped to handle it.
Nitrous! :seesaw:
BTW You don't mix low compression and Nitrous! Read up
I don't understand why you wouldn't mix low compression and nitrous. Nitrous drops the air temp condensing the air charge, while also adding more oxygen to allow the burn of more fuel.
The added, and more condensed air charge, then raises the compression ratio. So, if you were running a 9.5:1 static compression ratio and whacked it with a 300 shot, your compression ratio would jump (I haven't done the math so this is just for example) up to lets say 11.5:1.
This would allow you to run cheap gas whenever you weren't spraying. Saving you money during the week and remaining very streetable, and still letting you have fun on the weekends.
Nitrous is a weekend racers best friend.
Nitrous is not Forced in.
Low compression ratio engines are less efficient because they can not deliver as much of the ideal combustion power to the flywheel.
Basically your not getting you bang for the buck!
I love the sound of my blower. :yup:
Try both. :yup:
yea i'd like to get a supercharger but i don't think i can afford it...408 is gonna be pretty steep :(
Another vote for N20 here:D I love the giggle juice:rotfl:
I will spray in anything I will race.. I am planning on forged internals and a turbo next but im still not losing my spray!!
I vote for a supercharger but I'm biased...
:itsok::gay:
After thinking about this a bit I decided that I would go with the NOS...my reasoning is, why spend all that money, extra maintenance, etc...why not have choices? you can build the motor you want and make real #'s (i.e. motor...thats what its's about right? the motor? the car?) and then you have the "option" to add the boost...I have seen to many superchargers perform like a boy on prom night- quick to start, disapointing finish...life is about options- why not have the best of both worlds? I mean look at what everyone calls the best episode of pinks ever? the two brothers the 69 firebird and the 99 camaro....all motor? why restrict yourself to only one option? I have seen too many NOS cars outrun supercharged cars and I have seen all motor cars outrun supercharged cars...why not have two options? jmo....
:rotfl: AND just IMO, this poll sucks ass.....N20 is way better than a super charger, anyday......but thats just MY opinion......
It is funny that people who don't know jack about cars have so much to say! This sounds like the old 03-04 Cobra threads! Different folks due different things to make power! IE.-stroker/big bore, nitrous, turbo, s/c, h/c/i, and high compression.
What is NOS? I only know of it as a company.
The poll speaks for itself!:yup: Please take into account the vast knowledge that is being spread around here though! It is very amusing!
So in other words because someone saw a show on tv that had two all motor cars racing for titles and it was the best. All races must be done all motor because thats what a car is about...:rotfl:
aww come on packy are you saying your car would outrun a LS1 with a set of stage 2 heads, cam, and 150 shot with forged pistons and rods? same price as most superchargers out there... and you can take your pick on nitrous jets.. Hell if you beat that 150 they can open the glove box and try again with a 200...
Well that depends on who is driving the car I guess! Driven well it would be close with the 150(drivers race). With the 200 kick if driven right it would smoke my bags. I never said nitrous was slow just gave my e-pinion. It just seems that some people refuse to believe that their n2o beast was beat by a slow sc'd LS1. Also in their vast experience from watching tv they know that nitrous always beats superchargers... I just prefer the S/C for driveability reasons IE- Gas mileage, street tempers, and flat out ability layeth the smack down when the boost gauge leaves the vacuum side!
I have always said it myself if I had to build another ride it would be a Vette with a nasty direct port system!
Now I would NEVER say that Nitrous will always beat a supercharger. There are some NASTY superchargers out there and the power will always be there. So especially for something like more of a road coarse car, the s/c would be the way to go. But 1/4 mile racing (with the right fuel setup) you have a much better kick, and instant powerband when using nitrous over a s/c.
As for driveability if your pairing nitrous with a bad ass cam.. then forget about it but you can still forge and spray with a mild cam and boltons and still maintain good street manners.
Like what was said before, its all in the setup.. Both have advantages and the the only one that really makes either stand out from one another is PRICE
I don't see turbo's in the poll? :yup:
Turbo= much cheaper boost :) me likey. Thats the way Im going after my next deployment.. But still keeping the spray!
Just sell the LS1 and get a GN and noone will even argue w/ u.
Supercharger all the way.
