the only thing i regret about the cam is the drivability changes but thatll soon be changed when i put the convertor in :yup:

the polished zr1's look the best, the other wheels: crappy. like the smoked lights. you got some hit and miss, but overall it looks good, esp. lowered!!! :cheers: <--- apple juice for you since youre not 21...:lol:

thanks man and i would have kept the zr1 wheels cause there my favorite but i had a guy give me 1200 for them so i couldnt pass that up since i only had 400 in the set

The power steering pulley: one of the worst GM thoughts for the Ls1 engine. At least on the Lt1 they had (3) holes in the pulley so you could remove it as a complete unit and not have to rely on a puller tool...:sillyme:

it was all that fit into the budget. i planned on getting some ceramic coated ones but i decided to use the extra money towards port and polishing the 243 heads

TSP 228r 112LSA and Ported and Polished 243's. i had the 241's on in the pics but bought the 243's the next day just didnt get pics of them cause we were in such a rush to get it back together

I may have to do it in stages. Cam/Oil pump/Timing chain then go back and do PRC Stage 2.5 LS6 heads.

well it would have been done over the weekend but we ran into a few issues that had to be settled. but it only ended up taking about 5 days while working on it after work

havent dynoed it yet. it went 12.7 at 110 last weekend with a 2.0 60' and spinning through second on street tires. but when i get my covertor put in and buy a set of 3:73's with the 150 shot thats on it were hoping to go really low 11's

yeah i had it tuned the day i finished the set up. then went back a week later to re tune it for the nitrous

nope there just factory c5 zo wheels. the tires i have on them kinda make them look like that though. there 17's up front and 18's in back

i really dont want to go 18s in the back but single rims are expensive as hell...

i love it the 18x9.5's in the rear with a 295 series tire fill up the fenderwell perfectly IMO

yeah i would like to run 18s on all corners

i didnt notice a difference other then my speedo is like 3MPH off but then again i did the H/C swap like a week after i got the wheels but i highly doubt the difference would make it not worth running 18's

these things are bad ass the only thing i dont like about them is the weatherstripping as you can see in the las pic. im going to take them back out and use the weatherstripping off of the factory headlights since there the exact same size

Thanks man :lol: the only reason i bought these is because when i attempted to black out my original headlights they spider webbed and fish eyed all over. whats bad is i did my taillights and markers at the same time and they came out perfect :shrug:

Not much has really changed lately on the car since i have been having job issues but finally landed a great job so next on the list is suspension goodies. i noticed when i did the oil change that the lca bushings are shot and the torque arm bushing at the trans is on its way out too so im just going to buy the suspension package offered with umi which consists of LCA's, upper and lower PHB, with the relocation bracket, LCA relocation bracket, and a torque arm with the new crossmember that comes with the DS loop. all is looking around 1000 shipped to my door

HOWEVER: i did get a little better at the track then last updated. i too it back to tune on it some more and pulled a 12.4 @115 out of it on street tires and an amazing 2.3 60' haha

ive tried running it on the spray and with street tires i just blow them off through third even when i spray after 60' so im in need of some slicks

Man I was just looking at that package too. Have you ever tried getting the 275 mt slicks I can PM you where I got mine but When my car was completely stock with them on it i got a 13.3 something but without them I was in the 13.6's so the traction was awesome.

Thanks guys and i dont have any hp numbers yet but were guessing around 425 to the tires on motor and 550-575 on nitrous hence the reason i get no traction. since i live in OK i dont need to have cats, actually come to think of it that was the first mod i did to the car was delete the cats.

definately not lol ALWAYS replace the puch rods and valve springs when doing a cam swap. i also replaced my lifters just to be on the safe side. i switched it up and have a bullet muffler on it now. it had a dirt track muffler on it in the video so its quieter

BTW im stealing your red led mod to your headlights lol i fell in love

Well i got a kick ass deal on a true dual exhaust job at a local shop. so i switched it to true duals from the headers back with a pair of SLP LM1's. surprisingly its not as loud as i though it was gonna be and i do have to say she sounds nasty at idle thats for sure :)

it makes it look real mean.. it has a switch to turn them on/off, i turn them on when im parked or driving with the fog lights. but not on the street since its illegal..
im also doing another one for thew hood scoop.. scanning mode..

on this i drilled some holes and got some plugs were the bulb goes like the ones that go on the rear bumper blinkers..
wire them together to the ground, and another one to the batt.. the one to the ground has another wire that goes to the dashboard that has the kill switch,, i turnd them on/off from there,,

well had a buddy give me a set of CAMARO berger panel inserts for free. installed those and got me a nice meaty set of 335's rubbing up the back a little lol

idk the wheels measured 10.5 so they may not be oem and i know they havent been widened but ill roll with it. already put almost 1000 miles on them so far with no issues

well i changed wheels AGAIN and decided to go back to the zr1 style except in chrome. Also put some new tires on the wheels, rears are 315/35r17 NT05r drag radials and i have to say they definately hook

Agreed. And in person the black wheels just looked awesome.

everyone has said that that looks at the pic but everyone that sees them in person likes the chrome better :lol: and im going to probably take most of my black accents off and go with clear just to change it up

I'll just have to see for myself after mine is running again. I want to so something different with mine, but I dont know what, maybe some yellow foglights.

well clay bar, wax and possible wet sand first then a good polish on the wheels :lol: and then exhaust or some hood stripes in black (the ones on the side of the ws6 hood scoops) those look great IMO

Yeah, I like those strips, but I want a goldish color to match the snowflake wheels ill end up getting.

i got 950 out of them and there in ok condition so i think i made out alright. and i almost sold mine too not too long ago but im really happy that i didnt now that i look back on it.

950 is great deal.

Last year I sold my red z. I regret it the min after I got the cash.
