i don't think they are an improvement to your current ones, but that's just my personal taste.

2009 zr1 18" black machined lip
Thats a good look
Thanks for the compliment. HRE's, IMO, are some of the best quality wheels made. Mine are three piece(which really helps with repairs, if the wheels get damaged). I do like the CCW 505's and 500's. They've got a nice lip, but then again so do the HRE R series. There is quite a difference in price though, $1,400 a piece for the HRE's vs $700 a piece for the CCW's. So CCW's are a really nice wheel for the price though.
Here's my 95 with 19" NZO Pino-r's 8.5" front / 10" back

275/35...I was referring to sidewall height, but with a tire that size you need it taller and wider...no wonder it looks like a rubber band!
15" Bogart D10's:

thank you don't know how but my girlfriend found a way to post them in a new thread. thank you for all your help everyone
Hey EvilBird,
With wheels this wide and 315's out back, did you have to make any adjustments to the suspension or curl the fenders? I am thinking about getting wider wheels on the rear, probably 11" and would love to put 315's under the fenderwells. If you wouldn't mind sharing everything you did to accomodate those monsters, I would really appreciate it!!!
Very nice,i love those but there so hi! What did they cost?? Wonder if there anyone w/ a good used set of o.e corvette wheels and or tires for sale?? Do u think black wheels look good on a artic white z ?

18" black Z06 rims, with 275/35 on the front and 295/35 on the rears. I went with 9.5" wide up front and 10.5" wide in the back, required a 1.5" spacer though
that is one sweet lookin ride!! all black is beautiful!!
you may need to do something about the surface rust on the rotors though,
I'm sorry to take this whole thread off subject over this but this is a f**king horseshit post. I can't believe someone would make generalized ignorant comments like this and no ones gives a shit.
If someone one from another country came on this board and started flaming Americans they would catch major shit and get kicked off, and with good reason its just plain ignorant! F**k man were all equal in this world, and if you're naive enough to think that us Canadians are any different from Americans you should pull your head out of your own ass. You're not going to find two cultures more similar!
cableguy how do you like those rims? I've been thinking of getting a set like that for my 02 z28. Theres a shop near where I live that specializes in 82-02 t/a's and camaros but they're asking like $1400 for the set is that about right?
I just got ttm's put on today. Some clean up and some blackbird stripes coming next week.

I love the look of the TTM's on the car. I went with the 17x9's so I wouldn't have to modify anything.
I don't think I've posted here...so here is a few :D

Same here bro- I didn't even want to take the chance (even though some say no mod required-maybe adj. panhard(sp?) bar) Plus the 17x9's with 275/40's is plenty wide IMO.
You went with chrome plated right? I did and do not regret it at all! Mine get waxed a couple times a year just for protection really but just regular car wash makes em look great.
A fairly common look, but one what works in my opinion.
99 T/A with 17x9.5 Torque Thrust II's with Nitto 555 275/40/17 up front and 315/35/17 in the rear.

When I get it back from the shop, I'll polish up the wheels and try to get better pics.
I liked the chrome ones the best. I think they are wide enough too. If I would have went any wider then I would have had to either cut the fender or the bump stop. Because my car is a vert the fender wells are not as deep. I need to get my rims waxed too but I have only had them on for a week. It's sitting in the garage for the next couple of days anyway because mother nature is being a complete bitch today and dropped a few inches of snow today so it will be a few days before the roads get clear enough. Wonderful springtime in IL.
it's in the rain but here they are

Thanks, I like them a lot. Minus the fact that polished aluminum is a PITA to keep clean :cuss: Buuut, I'm happy enough with them to keep them. This year was the first set of new tires I bought without buying a whole new wheel/tire package
I know, I know :ughlaugh: I just changed jobs, haven't had a lot of time. And I have some work that needs to be done before I get new pics going. A new windshield for one, I have a crack that is slowly making it's way across to the passenger side, and I have the driver's side door panel off, window motor and regulator out, with the window blocked up waiting on me to get a new window motor to replace it. Looks like a typical redneck third gen on the inside. But at least I still have one door panel on, right? :yup:
Me and the wifey have some new beautiful spots picked out for this summer, just gotta get out and snap some shots. Weather is also a hindrance. I've had to take shelter twice in two weeks for tornado sirens... lucky I didn't get much more than some fallen branches and relocated trash cans either time....unlike my poor neighbors down the road...
^ those don't look that bad!!!!
I bought em used at a performance shop in my area, you can find em online
They are iForged Senekas and the rears are 18x11.5 on a 50mm offset. Had to do lots of work to get the 11.5s to fit so 11s or 10.5s would be better. I didn't know HP Evos didn't come that wide, learn something new every day.
Just got 20" Black W/chrome Status Rims on 235/40/20 Nexxen z's wish i could learn how to post pics cause they look bad ass!
