well with all the stars lined up it will run a 10.40ish I have never had a chance to realy see what this new combination is going to do yet. It's a 406sb eagle rods and cranck, SRP pistons, Doug herbert C6k sollid roller cam with roller rockers and alum. Brodix track 1 heads non ported. Victor jr. intake and a demon carb. 350 turbo trans with brake and a 3500 PTC stall. 373 gears also a NOS super power shot system. It has already went a 7.20 eighth mile on motor with a junk carb. this demon should pick it up a bit it was running out of fuel before. so we'll see hopefully before the end of the year.

Sweet car, I had a friend buy a '73 T/A sight unseen for$8500 and it was packed with bondo.
THats an improved coolant filter lol...The oil filter is hard to see and I left it there to remind me to install it and change the oil before it runs again.

Sweet car!

What have you done to the motor? Mine only has an intake/cam/ headers and it runs great. Probably need a new carb, my intent was to keep it relatively stock, but now I'm thinking to build it how I want it. I'm in Seattle and its stored in Mich as I have no storage out here yet. Its actually a Formula (have to fix the hood) with a 3 speed & 12 bolt.

I know its not a chevy but I currently own a 1972 340 'Cuda that has been stroked out to 416 cu.inches that runs high 10's and gets driven every weekend. My first car that I ever bought was a 1972 Camaro that I completely restored that was hugger orange with a nicely built 454/TH350.

Its a .030 over 455 with #62 heads Warrior Intake and a Ultradyne cam.

Thanks. It is a low mile cream puff. It has 62 or 68,000 actual on it. The reason it needed a paint job is because the last owner which was the second decided to try to paint it himself. Not much else needed to say on that point.
It has some .10 over pistons in it with a Comp 292 hyd. in it. Someone also de burred the block and painted the oil valleys with the "red insulating varnish" to help aid oil return. Heads look stock other than a pair of springs. It has a TH400 with a Daaco 2800 conv. Runs really strong for what it is I thought. Sure it would run a lot stronger with a Holley instead of the 750 AFB that is on it.
It will just be assembled cleanly to re-sale.

10's with a BFG 295/50/15. It's a 350 horse with the closed chamber. Should be around 400 now with the cam and intake set-up.

That is sweet! My dad is restoring his '70 LS6 Chevelle SS - all numbers matching with every orginal part and a build-sheet. His is that autumn gold color with black stripes - fairly rare color. It's about 25% complete right now, with a projeccted completion date of August 2008. He's retired, so he can spend all day on it, everyday :lol:

actually i will advertize it with Cars on line - may try ebay once? not sure. Currently on Old rides .com .Winter season is not the best time to sell, That is why i will not push the sale till May this year!

Pontiac 400 with the TH350.. :D

And has the rear drums.. unfortunately.. we had fun replacing those cylinders.. LOL.

A buddy said for a small fee he'd paint it.. and he has his own gun.. I just have to do all the prep work.

All I can say is make sure that the floor pan and bottom of car gets sprayed with a chassis type epoxy or it won't last for shit.

If you don't have weld in sub frame connectors do it now so they can get sprayed to match the rest.
