[QUOTE=Rickys S/C Z28;1059425]Great man thanks!! what does youcar run?? waht kinda mods??
well with all the stars lined up it will run a 10.40ish I have never had a chance to realy see what this new combination is going to do yet. It's a 406sb eagle rods and cranck, SRP pistons, Doug herbert C6k sollid roller cam with roller rockers and alum. Brodix track 1 heads non ported. Victor jr. intake and a demon carb. 350 turbo trans with brake and a 3500 PTC stall. 373 gears also a NOS super power shot system. It has already went a 7.20 eighth mile on motor with a junk carb. this demon should pick it up a bit it was running out of fuel before. so we'll see hopefully before the end of the year.
danm man sounds like a good setup!! i have a 79 Z28 with a 400 in it also but iv never ran it yet. cait wait to get baack home were there is a track!!!

SWEET 69 Z-28! Even better than I thought it would be...
Griff
It looks like he is working on it and just set it there,The radiator hose is not conected.
Here's one.
Under construction.
What have you done to the motor? Mine only has an intake/cam/ headers and it runs great. Probably need a new carb, my intent was to keep it relatively stock, but now I'm thinking to build it how I want it. I'm in Seattle and its stored in Mich as I have no storage out here yet. Its actually a Formula (have to fix the hood) with a 3 speed & 12 bolt.
I know its not a chevy but I currently own a 1972 340 'Cuda that has been stroked out to 416 cu.inches that runs high 10's and gets driven every weekend. My first car that I ever bought was a 1972 Camaro that I completely restored that was hugger orange with a nicely built 454/TH350.
Heres a couple of pics!!:burnout:
Nothing wrong with Skylarks. Heres a Skylark I just recently picked up..........

Nice Buicks!! I hope that Skylark recieves a Buick power plant........ I see it has a bar in it is there cage or just a roll bar?
I also noticed the 12 bolt ..........She is ready for big bottle!!!
Here is a few new ones of some customers cars that I have worked on lately.

I have a 67 GTO that I am in the middle of putting back together after painting. I am thinking of putting an LS1 and an auto in it.
Finally started to see some Mopars!!! This is my 69 R/T 440 4 speed. 1 of 99 4 speed verts made that year.
Since we're posting Buicks, here's my #'s matching Saturn yellow GSX. That's a GNX in the backround.
My dailey driver '87 GN, 12.7 @110, really loved that car, but so do the car thieves here...the highest theft rate in the nation here, had 3 of them stolen. Under the cover in the garage is my '71 Chevelle SS454, got pics of that too.

1969 Chevelle SS with a 496 in the works to replace the 408 big block thats in it right now.
I'll post some pic's when it's finished, the paint job is in the works I just can't deside on a final color. I'm down to either a Tourch Red or Azure Turquoise. The cars has a all new interior which is black and I still need to find a good 12 bolt rear end for it too.
80 T/A Turbo 4.9
Wow
This has to be the longest living thread in history. I started this thread 2 years and 4 months ago with my 69 camaro.
I haven't had that car in over a year.
What a thread! You guys have some NICE domestic classics and soon-to-be-classics.
I never posted a picture of my junk:

heres mine
no bottle. i was told the engine is not set up for that. 10.5 compression and bottom prob wouldnt support it.
Thanks. It is a low mile cream puff. It has 62 or 68,000 actual on it. The reason it needed a paint job is because the last owner which was the second decided to try to paint it himself. Not much else needed to say on that point.
It has some .10 over pistons in it with a Comp 292 hyd. in it. Someone also de burred the block and painted the oil valleys with the "red insulating varnish" to help aid oil return. Heads look stock other than a pair of springs. It has a TH400 with a Daaco 2800 conv. Runs really strong for what it is I thought. Sure it would run a lot stronger with a Holley instead of the 750 AFB that is on it.
It will just be assembled cleanly to re-sale.
That is sweet! My dad is restoring his '70 LS6 Chevelle SS - all numbers matching with every orginal part and a build-sheet. His is that autumn gold color with black stripes - fairly rare color. It's about 25% complete right now, with a projeccted completion date of August 2008. He's retired, so he can spend all day on it, everyday

OWN A SHOW QUALITY 1972 BUICK GSX ( re- creation) . REASON I DID THE RE-CREATION THING WAS THIS DOCUMENTED GS WAS A SOUTH CAROLINA CLASSIC WHICH STILL RETAINED IT"S ORIGINAL BODY PANELS & UNDERCARRIAGE. ONLY "44" DOCUMENTED GSX WERE BUILT IN 1972 & ONLY 6 ARE IN THE BUICK REGISTRY TODAY. RARE TO EVR SE A REAL 72 GSX LET ALONE A RE-CREATION, THIS ONE IS A NUT & BOLT BODY OFF RESTORATION. I REGRET HAVING TO SELL IT BUT I PURCHASED A 2002 WS6 CONVERT, WITH ONLY 6575 ORIGINAL OWN OWNER MILES, SO THE GSX HAS TO BE "SOLD" OVER THE NEXT 4 MONTHS!!
