but art is supposed to ask questions and show different points of view. but of course that is always subjective, opinionated and often taken to an extreme. for facts, we have the news media and science (wich are not always neutral or objective either).
when art becomes pure entertainment, it stops being art!

i think they are kinda like rage against the machine. i like the way that the songs are put together...but i don't really like the lyrics or more specifically what the lyrics represent/stand for/or the reason that they were written. i stopped listening to ratm years ago because i couldn't stand putting money in their pockets when they are a bunch of communists that openly speak about getting rid of the capitalist system that made them the wealthy stars they are/were. quite hypocritical.

i actually liked them when on their first album when serj used to dress up like a clown, looked kinda like captain spaulding.

ONe of my friends from Glendale, Ca is friends with a few of the guys in the band. They are coked out assholes. Why would I take life/world/moral advice from people that fuck anything they can get their hands on and do blow like it is going out of style?

i like the old shit they have, all the new shit they have sucks, they are annoying and all their songs are repetitive
