How would the throttle be stuck on a brand new drive-by-wire throttle body? There's no build up of carbon/soot and no cable....the dude is lying his ass off to save his job. If the car hasn't been bought yet there's not even any floor mats in the damn thing to blame the peddle getting stuck under.Quote:

You drive a 1st gen Camaro (like I did for decades) with a solid throttle linkage and a propensity to break left side engine mounts which (when making a left turn) will cause the engine to tip over to the right thereby yanking the throttle into a WOT condition trapping it (the throttle linkage) against the valve cover and you learn real quick what to do to make it stop: Throw it into neutral (works most times) or turn it off (works every time)!Quote:
