no the lid is just that a lid and thats it. but a lid is a lid so any brand you go with will be the same. the $300 kit has a part to get cold air from the bottom of the car. i dont know for sure but i have head that if you have a ram air car it is a wast so $ and you should just get the lid.Quote:

Amazing when you think of it 10hp for $100 lid and 20-25hp for $1500 headers and ls6 intake. Now we are starting to go deep into it. So obviously the lid is a great upgrade to start. The rest will follow.
YES the lid is by far the best bang for your buck upgrade ...i kinda wish i had an intake instead now though....i like the way they look better and after seeing some results on here of ppl with them gaining a few more hp....Quote:

What do you guys think of the super chip and those programmers. The stage 2 super chip states like 25hp gain false or true. The chip is $279 and the programmer is $499
