guys, I have to be honest, I'd have to know the rode like the back of my hand to go that fast, because if I were to lose my car due to 5.0, I'd cry. also I know if I spot them, i'd just keep my foot down and let them catch up to me because then I'd have a better chance to get away. It just seems risky as hell to me. I know of a few places where they are every blue moon, but that's almost not rare enough to me. I have no problem bustin 100 but if you think about it whats the difference between that and 150 when it comes to cops? I guess it depends on if they want to take you to jail or not.
i try not to drive more than 125 on the free way. anything after that any there is now way you can stop. and i do know all the freeways around here like the back of my hand. you tend to in a lowered trans amQuote:

I was going down the interstate today on my way to work and this guy in a BMW thought he would challenge my American muscle car. Needless to say I left him far behind, didnt realize how fast I was going. Looked down and 125 mph and climbing fast. I got up to 135 mph had to let off traffic ahead in my way. It had PLENTY left. Man what a rush. I pulled into my work parking lot I was so pumped up lol ! I love my 01 SS CAMARO. I know they are much faster cars and mine its just stock but its mine and I am very proud of it. It was so smooth going that fast really cool how the car handles. When I get up the nerve I am going to hit 150 mph+ and video tape it. Trick is driving that fast with one hand on the wheel and the other hand trying to hold the camera still. I will post the video after I do it.

I looked back and he was well behind of course. I locked cruise at 70 in a 65 and sat in the right lane to calm down. Fifteen minutes later the guy passed on the left and I noticed a "How am I driving?" sign so I dropped it down into 3rd and tailed him while I called the number and read off the truck and license #'s. I have been around 160mph in my LS1 on the interstate, I would say 135mph in a 35mph racing somebody, and 45mph in reverse in a corolla (the scariest experience)
