Pinion Seal
I put my car up to get some new rear meats this weekend and noticed that my rear pinion seal is startin to leak a little. It seems to be minor at the moment but im hoping it doesnt get worse fast.
Anyone recommend any particular course of action? Should i just change the seal? Car makes 325whp and 342wheeltq

I'd say if there is a drip hanging off then fix it. If its seaping then keep your eye on it. I just did mine 5 days ago and rechecked it today to find the outside of the housing bone dry and not leaking a bit. I used a GM/ACDelco seal from the dealership.

Its not dripping which is good it does just seem like light seepage. Im gonna try to hold off on changing it then and keep an eye on it.

These cars are known to leak a bit from the pinion seal - that's pretty much normal. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you see actual dripping or a puddle on the ground.
