What are you asking?...need a little more info
you will need to get a 6.0 block, i dont think you can make the 5.3 into a 408. get a 6.0 block and take it to a machine shop and ask them to check it out. You can also buy a brand new 6.0 block for about $700.
6.0 block
4" stroke crank
6.125" rods
then you need the correct pistons for your application (boost, nitrous, all motor, etc)
to get a 5.3L motor to a 408 size, you would have to replace the cylinder liners. not real cost effective.
I thinking he is building a 6.0 to a 408 which is the iron block bored out.402 is the 6.0 aluminum not bored with a stroker kit installed.
after reading it again, you are correct. he's a little tough to follow.
to find out if it's any good, you would have to pull it apart and inspect all the parts.
thanks for all the replay
