K i know that i have to put the modded wiring harness in the car but im buying an ls1 with the harness for a 4l60e and that is what i have and it is coming with everything harness,ecu,k-member, radiator support and all the plug in's. Now will the harness for the ls1 4l60e plug into mine in the lt1 because i have to do the swap it needs to be done. please get back to me
Good question, GM made some updates over the years on the 4L60E but I don't know if this affects how the harness was made or if sensors were deleted/added.
But one thing I do know,,,,your LT1 4L60E won't bolt to your new LS1 engine, as the bellhousing bolt pattern is completely different, so is the torque converter and flywheel, You are going to need an LS1 tranny reguardless anyway.
