Finally gonna have my Z running
Okay, so as of today, 23 June 2007, it has been eight months to the day since my 98 Z28 broke down. Earlier today I negotiated a deal on an 02 short-block LS1, a Comp Cams 228/230 XER cam, Comp 850 lifters, and possibly a few other goodies too. I should be going to check it out/pick it up tomorrow or Monday.
:woot2: I should have it going again soon. I also have a deal going on a set of exhaust manifolds (mine are rusted and two bolts to the y-pipe broke while we were removing the oil pan to check the bearings) but I hopefully will have enough money left to get the brakes done and maybe get a set of headers.
Either way I should have my Z back on its feet after eight months! :hyper: BTW, does anyone have a Comp XER 228/230? Or can anyone tell me how that's going to work in an otherwise stock LS1?
