what is the benefit for having these different sized wheels.
18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear? is there a disadvantage for this?
also does the c6 z06 have 18x9.5 all 4 tires?
what size wheels will be best for handling?
sorry for the retarded questions

10.5 means you can have a wider back tire witch is better for traction
Staggered wheel set ups are more for a look IMO
You may get added traction from wider rear wheels and tires.
The only downside is the inability to rotate the tires.
staggered wheels you also lose a lil bit for handling but not enough to shake a stick at
ok what size are the c6 z06. are they the same size all around?
im trying to figure out what the best size tires will be, mostly for handling. the f-body has an uneven weight balance... would that mean i would want slightly bigger tires in the rear for good handling? or just all the same size all around. and what size is best for handling?
fronts 18x9.5 and rears 19x11. they do look good on F-bodies thoQuote:

moving to the right forum
just get wide tires in the front allowing you to rotate.
Plus our cars tend to like same size tires f/r for handling... the car behaves well with wide in front.
the front was no problem, WAY easier than the rears.
with the stock brakes, i only needed to get a 7/32" spacer... some ppl use a 1/4" spacer.... the pix in the signature are w/ the 7/32" spacer.
no need to touch the fenders whatsoever... there is more room in the front than on the rear... check the 335 on all corners too ;) on 17x12... rear fender needed flaring, though.
