Fitment Question
There used to be a post a while back on here that was called, "Will this fit" which had a lot of good information about what wheel size and tire combinations would fit. Since that is gone, I need to ask some questions.
I am finally getting around to replacing my stock silver 16" rims. The rims I am looking at are the ASA JS5 chrome rims from Tire Rack. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Displ...wheelModel=JS5
The specs on the rims are 17" x 9" with a 50 mm offset.
I am going with 275/40 tires (probably the BFG g-Force T/A KDWS, or the Fuzion ZRi).
What I need to know is if this rim at a 50 mm offset will fit without having to do any modifications or the use of spacers? The car is a 2002 Trans Am and sits at stock height with no plans to lower it. It is a daily driver with Bilstein shocks from Strano and the stock springs.
Bonus question: Can I use my stock lugs, or do/should I buy new lugs and what type?
Thanks for your help.

They will fit and yes you will have to get new lugs for them. Head to a tire and wheel shop and they should be able to get you the correct lugs for it.

if those wheels accept acorn style lugnuts, then the stock ones will work.
