you could get a 225 if you wanted.
205 Afr head is the biggest I would put on a stock motor.

you CAN put a 225 on it but they recommend that if under 380 cubes to stick with the 205's ..........you can put bigger heads on it but if it doesn't translate to numbers then why do it? It would just be a waste of money...........
really need to think about the heads your buying. buying parts that the manufactur says adds HP is not the way to go. Application and depth of wallet have alot to do with it, not the biggest CC.
i was looking to spend around 1000 dollars. how are the patriot heads. does the 205 cc head create more horsepower with the 346 block. which would be better for a turbo application the 205 or 225?
You wont find AFR's for around a thousand dollars..........most people will agree that the best bang for the buck heads are the Patriots. The size of the heads depend on the displacement..........if you have the stock block(346) then go with the 205's.........if it is stroked to a 383 or bigger go with the 225's.Quote:
