Didn't get a great view because of lighting, But the rear end house and tq are seem to be pretty greasy and dirty. Now from what I could tell those are the only two things that looked to have grease build up any ideas? I was thinking the tail-shaft but wouldn't everything under the car be greasy?
A leaky pinion seal on the rear is a factory installed option on our cars. Chances are that is the issue.
Its weird that its not all over the underside, It looks to just be on the tq arm and the whole read end housing..
Air moving around under the car will push it all over. Any drips on the garage floor?
Assuming the seal is leaking while you are moving, how the air flows under your car due to the many hanging bits and pieces of exhaust and suspension, the oil will follow where the air directs it. Degrease and wipe it down really well then go for a drive and see if it returns. Look most closely at the area around the pinion seal. Bottom line, if it isn't more than a slow seepage it isn't an immediate must-do repair. Just keep an eye on it and occasionally check the level in the rear. About the time it actually starts dripping on the floor it is time to get the seal replaced.
