Just wondering what you guys think is the best way to check for a vacuum leak?
I have been told to spray some soapy water on the intake manifold and hoses to see if the suds bubble at the source of the leak. I have also been told that brakleen is also helpful as it will cause the idle to surge at the source of the leak.
Unlit propane torch.
To find the leak spraying soapy water is the best way.
Any updates OP?
check the back of your pcv line where it bends to go into the intake.....most common place to develope a vacuum leak on these cars.
