I have owned dozens of cars and have never seen water spots like on my T/A. They are on all of the glass, tried aerosol and liquid glass cleaner as well at glass wax.
Any ideas?

Have you tried 0000 steel wool? Hard water scale build up is a common problem in Florida. It's going to take a ton of elbow grease to get it all. Perhaps someone will chime in with a product they've used.
Your not doing this while in the sun, right?
Rain-x has a new "deep clean" product you could try. It seems to have alittle bit of a "grit" to it. But as stated b4, elbow grease might be the best product.
You could try some rubbing alcohol. When ever I get nasty tree sap all over the DD's windshield, that's the only thing I have that will take it off.
This is talking about water scaling on shower doors, but same principle.
I've also read that 2 parts white vinegar to 1 part distilled water with elbow grease.Quote:

The longer scale sits on the glass, the harder it's going to be to get rid of it. It can even become permanent if left alone too long. Good luck getting it off. Once it is all off, use some rain-x or a good wax on the glass to keep the problem from reoccurring.Quote:

it does a great job of cleaning the windshield of water spots and you can get it cheap, the bottle will last a long time.
the steel wool is around $3.00 and I think the cleaner was under $4.00, you can buy everything at walmart the cleaner is with the household cleaners and steel wool in the paint dept.
I do my windshields in a 2' x 2' section at a time and rinse, stubborn waterspots come right off.

I bought my car 2 weeks ago and the glass is covered in water spots. I wish i looked on here first and tried the vinegar but i found that the red Turtle Wax rubbing compound worked great. You really have to rub but it does the trick and doesnt scratch the glass. I'll try the vinegar solution on the back window tomorrow.

Google griots garage they sell a glass cleaner you can use on a orbital buffer and it worked on my TA. The actually sell a package with a 3" buffer and glass cleaner that's not much if you don't have a buffer.
