hey trying to get some direction are were to go next. 01 ss full bolt ons 4000 circle d stall 10 bolt rear 4.10 gears and a custom grind cam 614 lift im thinking. Just left the tune shop lowered my shift speeds by 17% and lowered my shift points and still bangs the limiter. maybe i need to contact frost.
Are you leaving it in drive or over drive ? Mine won't shift by it self any other way.
I'm leaving it in overdrive
They need to lower the mph and rpm shift points for each gear. Take it back and try again... What are they tuning with ? HP Tuners ?
My 1 - 2 shift is set at 29 mph and 6200 rpm to achieve a 7000 rpm shift. My limiter is at 7400...
my begining shift was at 6000 and shift at 6800 limiter set at 7000 now he bumped it back at i think5600 with a shift point of 6300
hp tuners
Set at 5600 with a shift poing of 6300. This is just me but it sounds like the tranny is starting to go. I would double check with Frost. When your shift points were set higher I would not have said that. I would have backed down or gone back to stock shift points to see.Quote:

Any ideas about breaking the tens on motor with my set up na motor?
I had my stock bottom motor hitting 10.8's with a 150 dry shot. Walbro 255 fuel pump & 30lb injectors at the time. And a little more tuning ! LOL
Went back to my tuner and dialed it in a little and fixed it, went to the the track and had no problems. thanks for the input

ran 11.4 on the car @118 n/a cam and olt ons stock heads 7.2 through the eighth
