Head Unit Question

I am pretty good with stereos and I love the look of this head unit. I am not worried about power out put as I have 3 sets of JL audio components with a separate 6 channel amp, 2 WX 10s in the trunk on either side with a 300/2 amp for them. My question is has anyone seen this head unit and do you think it will fit nicely in the factory location?

I am on deployment in the navy and don't have the exact dimensions of our bay for the head unit. It looks like it would drop right in minus the little angle cuts on the bottom but nothing I cant modify the cover to fit. I considered moving the ac controls and doing a car pc but would love this head unit instead.

I looked at these not that long ago online. It's a single din fitment with an over sized face right?

It's a single DIN that is oversized while ours are DIN.5 (DIN + 50%). You'll end up fabbing up the bezel to make it look right. Basically it'll work similarly to a Double DIN install. You'll need custom brackets. Most likely you can get a Single DIN kit and use the brackets and the filler panel- just cut into the panel and you can make it look good. I haven't actually worked with an oversized DIN, so I can't tell exactly what to do.
