Bump- I'm in the same situation and was wondering also.
The drill mod removes the restriction in the hydraulic line so the fluid flows faster. This is supposed to cure the sticky, lazy clutch pedal during quick, high rpm shifts. I'd also like to here some personal stories of people who have done it.
I did the "drill mod" on my clutch line when I installed my LS7 clutch and new GM master & slave cylinders. Never had a problem with the clutch sticking to the floor or releasing slowly, but I figured I might as well do it while I had the whole system apart. It says to use an 1/8" drill bit, but I ended up using a 7/64" with mine because the 1/8" didn't even fit into the line opening, and I didn't want to chew up the inside of the line.
is the tick adj master worth getting it also says that the line is bigger so you dont need to do the drill mod
i did exactly what wesman did when i installed my ls7 and all new hydraulics and havent had it stick to the floor or get spongy yet and it did it quite a bit before all the new parts...so to be honest idk if the drill mod did anything because i installed so many other new parts but i figured why not do it, it makes sense
Any other people with drill mod?
