I have a 98 z28 that was an 4l60e trans that broke completely so i have a
t56 that is already in holes cut for master and shifter everything in except mufflers and sterring colum and center console the only problem is the reverse lockout :splat: i can't seem to find an answer for making the reverse lockout work with the comupter on a 98 been searching everywhere if anybody knows please let me know thanks
on my t56 swap i didnt use the reverse lockout. trans still goes into reverse.
did youinstall the support plate for the Slave? if not your firewall will flex badly!!!
it was a pain but i did install it and have no flex the only thing i hear is a little throught bearing i think but i know everything is in right also i put four quarts of royal hope that was enough got to check it again
that plate is thre for a reason on factory cars. you should actually find one and install it as well. but good luckQuote:
