Make sure you get the double roller timing chain, LS6 oil pump and some new lifters. Are you an auto or an MS6? If an M6 I'd get the 4.10 gears in there and if an A4 I'd get a 4000 or higher stall.
That cam puts down some crazy numbers!
PM me if you want to buy a new Rollermaster Double Roller timing chain, I bought it for this cam but it turns out this cam won't work with my heads and I won't need it.

that should make a nice car, the people running 10's with that cam have a lot of weight reduction as well... generally under or about 3000lbs... but that cam is definitly a beast. I dont see any reason why you coudlnt spray it, but i don't know how well it would react to it in comparison to like the MS3 which loves it or G5x4 which is supposedly built for spray (or so i was told).
I am condidering that cam myself, but (and ya i'm sure someone will flame for this) i've also been looking at the new cam "t-rex killer", it seems to be proving itself as a worth apponent to the trex, i just cant get ahold of the *exact* specs.Last edited by 98_Formula; 04-12-2006 at 02:01 PM.

Hi Guys,
I am looking into the TREX. What else will I need?
-double roller timing chain
-LS6 oil pump
-new lifters
I have a M6 and 4.10's.
How much just in parts do you think a complete "TREX package" would run? Any recommendations for manufacturers as well as websites to purchase which have the best deals would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

You don't need a Adjustable Double Roller Timing Chain unless your gonna advance the cam. A LS2 Timing chain and sprocket is all you need.

Double valve springs and hardened pushrods as well. I don't know if the lifters are as big of a problem as the pushrods but the pushrods and springs I know are a must for that cam.

titanium bases and retainers, pushrods...
shouldnt need lifters, unless you have over 90k on them...
