comp cams texas giant
whats up.i bought from this guy at work a comp cam for my 98 ws6.it is bran new in box,but i think its too big.i am all stock except for longtubes.and a walbro 255.anyhoo,this guy has a built ls1 engine for a 69 camaro project that is bad to the bone.the ls engine is disassembled.he is selling me the heads which i havent purchased yet.i believe they are 241s with port and polish job.complete with aftermarket valve springs.i am definatley buying the heads, but i got the cam today, and even with the ported heads,i believe the cam is too big for my applicaation.its a texas giant comp cam adv duration
int 301 exhaust 306 duration @.050 intake 248 exhaust 254 lobe sep 114.
valve lift int 622 exhaust 612 this cam is bran new.what do yall think?texas speed sells these but the description says they're for big cube motors.that do yall think?

hes not tearing it down.the cam is bran new.and heads are fresh. and block with rotating assembly is fresh.its just a camaro project thats being scrapped.the project is actually for sale on ebay right now.anyway,i thought the cam to be too big just from looking at the freaking lobes.yall just confirmed my suspicions
