Lower it first and if you beat up the ground effects to much take them off otherwise leave them on.

Mine is lowered with Goldline Springs 1.5 inch drop. I voted to lower it and leave the ground effects on.

I say lower it 1.5" and leave the ground effects on it. 1.5" is a nice drop and will still leave you some clearance room for headers & Y-pipe...
